Our greatest assets are our committed, excellent and passionate people. Whether lawyers, paralegal staff or other support staff, the experience of working with our team is awesome. Our people cut across three major practice departments. Our legal advisory and Compliance Department is currently headed by Ellen Briggs-Odebisi. The Law and Policy Department is headed by Tope Fajire. We also help clients manage fee expectation where they are already working with existing lawyers or indicate working with other lawyers. We offer this under our Fee Arbitrage Unit. Olaniran Obele leads the Dispute Management Department. Our Blessing Urang, out of our Abuja Liaison Office, liaises with government agencies and ensures that your legal needs in that territory are well taken care of. We have liaison offices throughout Nigeria and especially in cities like Abeokuta, Akure, Ibadan, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Enugu and the Northern cities of Kano, Kaduna and Maiduguri.

Olaniran Obele
Lead CounselNiran is the Lead Counsel in the Firm. He has over twenty years’ experience in the Nigerian law sector. He has appeared as lead counsel in all the courts of record in Nigeria, including the Supreme Court. He heads the Firm’s Dispute Management Department. Our Dispute Management Department, apart from helping clients to competently resolve dispute as they arise, is also a strategy powerhouse to help clients prevent, avoid and manage potential disputes before they fester. Niran has horned his skills in dispute prevention, management and resolution in the legal system, particularly in Nigeria.
Olaoluwa Okulaja-Duntoye
PartnerOlaoluwa’s special forte is advising clients regarding business law, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and contract management. She is a partner and currently on study leave in Canada for a Phd degree in Law. This however does not stop her from advising clients in her spare moments and giving inspiration to her team members as the substantive head of the Legal Advisory and Compliance Department.
Tope Fajire
Core litigator and an Associate PartnerTope Fajire is a core litigator and an Associate Partner. He works out of Ibadan with special focus on cases in cities like Akure, Abeokuta, Osogbo and Ado Ekiti. He occasionally comes over to Lagos and Abuja to relieve the Team when the demands of work becomes too tense.
Ellen Erefaa Briggs-Odebisi
Associate PartnerEllen had worked in the oil city, Port Harcourt, after her call to the Nigerian Bar in 2013. She worked in a couple of well reputed law firms. Ellen has a track record of diligence/dedication to her work and strives always to maintain an excellent standard. Since relocating to Lagos, and joining our Practice as Associate Partner, she has brought her reputation of excellent work attitude and great team spirit to fruition. She is the acting head of the Legal Advisory and Compliance Practice Department.
Deji Omogbemi
Senior AssociateDeji is an experienced litigator. He was called to the Nigerian Bar over a decade ago and has special interest in real estate, white collar crime, management and resolution of commercial dispute and arbitration. He has been described as a vibrant, proficient, dependable and dynamic lawyer with high level of integrity, passion for excellence and versatile experience that cuts across office administration, litigation, client relations, legal drafting, corporate practice and property management.
Usman Ogunse
AssociateUsman is an innovative and technologically savvy lawyer with special focus on computer law, tax dispute management and general litigation. He is a member of the Dispute Management Department and also works with the Legal Advisory and Compliance Department.
